This page explains the agreement between you and HikmaLingo when you use the app and/or subscribe to HikmaLingo Pro. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
By downloading, installing, or using HikmaLingo (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the App. Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
HikmaLingo is a language-learning app that teaches English through short video clips and reading-based exercises. The App's core features (watching clips, answering questions, vocabulary and grammar practice) are free to use, no account required. The HikmaLingo Pro subscription offers optional perks such as an ad-free experience and access to extra content (see Section 4).
We may expand, update, or reorganize the content library (series, clips, levels, practice sets) over time; we don't guarantee that any specific piece of content will remain available indefinitely.
The App works with an anonymous identity tied to your device — there's no mandatory sign-up screen. If you choose to, you can optionally link a Google or Apple account so you don't lose your progress if you switch devices.
You agree to use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You're responsible for the security of your account (if linked) and your device.
HikmaLingo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered in the durations below. Current prices are shown on the purchase screen through the App Store / Google Play, localized to your region.

You don't need to subscribe to keep using the App's core learning experience (the video-question loop, the currently available levels) — HikmaLingo Pro is entirely optional.
All video, text, audio, illustrations, branding, and software in the App — unless stated otherwise — belong to HikmaLingo or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Using the App grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to that content for personal use only.
You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or reuse this content for commercial purposes.

The App uses the Apple App Store / Google Play to process purchases, RevenueCat to verify subscription status, and Cloudflare for content delivery. Google AdMob may be used to show ads once that feature is enabled. Each of these services has its own terms and privacy policy; see our Privacy Policy for details.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always accessible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Any liability we do have is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the past 12 months, if any.
If we determine you've violated these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it; if you have an active subscription, remember it will keep renewing through the store unless you cancel it yourself (see Section 4).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye; this doesn't affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when new features (like ads) are added. We'll update the effective date whenever we make a material change. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
